The 6-phase meditation

meditation alone

Now that many of us have more time, some might want to see if meditation is something that could add to the quality of their life.
But I already hear you asking: “Where do I start?”
Or maybe you have tried to meditate, but you keep getting distracted, you have pain in your back, you find it too long and are just overall uncomfortable.

I have something for you here!

There is a very nice FREE course by Vishen Lakiani, the founder of Mindvalley, at the Mindvalley platform.
This link will guide you to it. –> Go here to sign up for the 6-phase meditation course <–

If you have never heard of Mindvalley, it is a platform where regular people like you and me can come to learn and explore education that is not taught in schools. Mindvalley teaches how to live an extraordinarily happy life.
Quote from Vishen Lakiani: The Mindvalley curriculum is designed to unleash the fullest potential of your mind, body, and spirit. It’s about being a rockstar at work. Having a healthy, youthful, energetic body. Experiencing unbreakable joy, love, and fulfilment. Connecting deeply with the people and communities around you. And contributing your unique gifts to the planet.

The 6-phase meditation course consists of a daily video and audio by Vishen. The video is maybe 20-25 minutes long and the audio starts at around 10 minutes and will gradually turn into a longer one as you work your way through the program.

Vishen talks very clearly about the 6 phases of meditation and what they could do for you. He himself actually dislikes the word “meditation” and prefers to call it “a transcendent practice” which stands for any practice that takes you away from the physical world and makes you go within.
What is a
The practice of gratitude where you reflect on joyful events to raise your state of happiness is a transcendent practice. So is also visualization or practising forgiveness.

“The 6-phase meditation puts together 6 of the most powerful and scientifically backed transcendent practices into one unified approach that lets everyone experience the profound beneficial effects.” – Vishen Lakiani
Vishen guides you through it in such an easy way that is also understandable for those who don’t have much experience meditation.

Apart from the regular daily video’s, the course provides you with additional material for when you are a total beginner and don’t know how to start meditating. Plus they give links to interesting information and reading materials for when you want to dive deeper into a certain topic.
Every day Vishen picks a theme, such as compassion, forgiveness, visualization, gratitude etc, and talks about how this theme is important to honour in your life. How you can give it a space in your life and practice it in your ‘meditation’ or ‘transcendent practice’.

The more you do this, the easier it will be to relax and the more your meditations will flow.
I totally recommend this FREE course, especially for the challenging time many of us are facing right now.

Let me know how you are doing with it! I will be curious to hear what you think.
